Let us start at the beginning, with the Word. Genesis 1:3 reads, “And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.” This simple yet powerful statement encapsulates the foundation of our faith. As Christians, we believe that God created the world and everything in it with His Word. The power of His spoken Word brought forth light, sky, land, sea, and all living creatures. It is a testament to His limitless power and sovereignty over all creation.
As we journey through life, it is easy to get caught up in the chaos and distractions of the world. We can easily lose sight of the fact that God’s Word is the anchor that can steady us amidst the storms of life. The Bible is filled with promises, wisdom, and guidance that we can turn to when we feel lost or uncertain. It offers us hope and direction when we need it the most.
